Optimists Die first Reviewed by Larisse

Do you consider yourself a pessimist or an optimist? Well, that would be an easy question for 16-year-old Petula De Wilde. Ever since her younger sister Maxine died, Petula has seen the potential of danger in almost every aspect of her life. Like shaking hands, riding a roller coaster, eating slightly undercooked eggs, or even crossing a construction site. When she meets the new bionic armed boy Jacob Cohen, her pessimistic thinking starts to change. Jacob helps her open up to the world, but she doesn't know that Jacob holds some of his own secrets as well. This book is both hilarious and devastating all while being super easy to read. This book represents the pillar honesty and I would rate it 5/5 stars.
