Mark Watney was one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now he'll be the first to die there. After a dust storm nearly wipes out him and his crew, Watney discovers that he was left alone on Mars with no way to communicate with Earth. With minimal food and no communication, Watney has to fight to survive until NASA can come to pick him up -- and they assume that he is dead. Will he push through, or will he succumb to the pressure to stay alive?
