A Spy In The House Reviewed by Chelsea Lee

 A Spy In The House

When Mary Quinn was sentenced to the gallows, she thought that her life ended there. So when she got rescued and brought to an institution for bright girls, she was shocked and pleased, if not a bit bored. After a while, Mary decided that she needed to look elsewhere in life after getting a great education -- but Ms. Scrimshaw's Academy for Girls had one more trick up its sleeve. Mary was asked to join the Agency -- an all girls agency of spies. Ms. Scrimshaw's was just a cover up for this secret Agency, and Mary couldn't be more delighted to join. Her first mission is to pose as a lady's companion and infiltrate a rich merchant's home in hope of finding his missing cargo ships. But when things aren't as they seem, Mary can't trust anyone. Will Mary be able to get out alive? Packed with suspicion, suspense and romance, this is a great book for ages 8 and up.
