Title: The Land of Stories; The Wishing Spell by Chris Colfer Reviewed by Karen Pan

This book is about two twins named Alex and Conner who have accidentally gone through a portal that takes them to the fairy tale world, which is the home of all the characters who are in the fairy tales that Alex as devoted her heart to. When they arrive there, however, they realize that they may be stuck there forever if they don't find a way out. Thus begins their adventure to gather the ingredients for the Wishing Spell, that can grant any wish. Unfortunately, Snow White's evil stepmother, who is better known as the Evil Queen, is also on a quest to make the wishing spell, which might mean that Alex and Conner may be stuck in the fairy tale world forever.

I rate this book four out of five stars because the start was a bit slow, but then it gradually became more and more interesting to read. I would also recommend the rest of 'The Land of Stories' series because they are all amazing.
