Schooled by Gordan Korman Reviewed by Mya Beare

Capricon Anderson is a guy who lives totally different from lots of us. He uses duct tape to fix anything really, for example to fix a part of a car that fell off, a tree branch. He lives with his grandmother Rain, who home schools him and teaches him everything. But when Rain falls off the ladder picking plums and hurts herself Cap has to go school. Cap really doesn’t know anything from the real world so everyone thinks it is funny when he doesn’t know what it is. He has a funny and hard time at the school. Will he make any friends for what he knows? I think that Cap represents the pillar of courage because he is doing something that he doesn’t really want to do but pushes through.

I rate this book a 4 ½ out of 5
