Piper McCloud is a girl who has a big secret. After being kept in her house for many years, Piper finally allowed to go to the Lowland county picnic with all the other children of Lowland county. But Piper’s secret gets exposed. She can fly. All of a sudden, people from all over the country see Piper McCloud, the girl who can fly. So when Dr. Hellion comes to take her to an institute called I.N.S.A.N.E with other children like her, Piper agrees to go but soon discovers that things aren’t like they seem. The middle school pillar that Piper showed the most, in my opinion, is Courage. She teaches herself how to fly, even though her parents forbid it at goes high in the air without anyone knowing. Then will leave the place that she lived in her whole life to go with Dr. Hellion to learn how to fly. I give this book a 5/5 because it was an excellent book with fascinating characters.
