Camp X by Eric Walters Reviewed By Owen Sandquist-Sherman

Although an excellent adventure book, Camp X didn't hook me from the beginning. Although I found it interesting, it became slightly repetitive. But when I got about two thirds of the way in, the pace picked up and never slowed down, culminating in a ridiculously intense finish making me glad I finished the book. Camp X is about the summer of two boys in World War II. Their dad is off fighting and their mom works at the factory, so they are pretty much free in the summer. They stumble into a secret camp, and they repeatedly return, with some scary results and knowledge they later wish they didn't have...
I give the book 4 stars out of five.
